Privacy
This page describes only what actually happens on the Alterations site (he-shen.gamestrategists.com).
What is stored on your device
Progress is written to your browser's localStorage under the prefix gs:he-shen:. It holds: which order you are on, the best grade and score per order, the outfit on the current order, the sound toggle, and whether you have reached the ending. No name, no email, no device identifier.
None of it is uploaded anywhere. Change device, change browser, or clear site data, and the progress is gone — by design, not by defect. The title screen has a "clear and start over" button, and it really deletes the record.
Third parties the page loads
- Google AdSense (
pagead2.googlesyndication.com): it covers the domain and hosting. The ad script loads with the page and Google may set or read cookies on that basis. Whether an ad shows, and where, is up to Google; personalised ads can be turned off in Google's ad settings. - Cloudflare Web Analytics (
static.cloudflareinsights.com): the site is hosted on Cloudflare, and this measurement sets no cookies, does no cross-site tracking and only aggregates visits.
Ad vendors may use their own identifiers (a DSID cookie, for instance) to serve and measure ads, and may personalise them from browsing history. You can turn off personalised ads in Google ad settings, or read about industry-wide opt-outs at aboutads.info.
There are no ad slots inside the game itself: no popups, nothing over the controls. Apart from those two scripts the game makes no network requests at all — it runs with no server behind it.
Children
Nothing here asks for an identity, and no information is collected from children under 13. The game is about dressing a wooden tailor's form: the picture is paper, wood and cloth, with no character dialogue, no violence and no horror.
What is not here
No accounts, no login, no server-side saves, no cross-device sync, no comment section, and no upload of any outfit you assemble. No user data is sold, rented or exchanged.
Your options
Block third-party scripts in your browser and the game still works, because all of its logic is local. To clear progress, use "clear and start over" on the title screen, or clear site data in your browser settings. Questions about this page: contact@gamestrategists.com.
